Harassment Prevention Training for Supervisors

To assist members in compliance with mandated training requirements, we provide free online training for employees and/or volunteers with supervisory responsibilities.

You must be in a state that mandates sexual harassment prevention education for supervisors and have a current Directors & Officers (D&O) policy with Employment Practices Liability with NIA. If you are not sure whether you have this coverage, please contact your insurance broker directly, or contact our Member Services team.

Training is delivered in an easy-to-use, interactive, and self-paced format that helps the learner deal effectively with real workplace situations — and avoid potential problems before they arise. Offered in English and Spanish.

Individuals meeting the following definition of a supervisor/manager are eligible for the training:
“Any individual having the authority …to hire, transfer, suspend, lay off, recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward, or discipline other employees, or the responsibility to direct them, or to adjust their grievances, or effectively to recommend that action …if the exercise of that authority is not of a merely routine or clerical nature, but requires the use of independent judgment.”

NIA Members Receive the Following:

  • Free training for all eligible NIA members
